Allyson Kay Owens

Allyson Kay Owens, 17, of Independence, MS passed away November 4, 2018. She is survived by her mother, Tiffany Wallace (Derrick) of Independence, MS; father, Jason Owens of Southaven, MS; grandparents, Gary and Sharon Whitworth of Independence, MS, George Owens (Peggy) of Southaven, MS and Sherri Owens of Jacksonville, FL; great grandparents, James and Sue Whitworth of Greenleaf, MS; sisters, Abbie Wallace (Will) of Independence, MS and Haley Owens of Hernando, MS; brother, Austin Wallace of Independence, MS and many aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of friends. Allyson was a member of her Independence High School choir, color guard, band and soccer team. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and had plans to become a traveling nurse.
