Betty Rose Carr, 77, passed away October 29, 2018 at her residence in Senatobia. She was a Colorado girl that had a beautiful life. On June 8, 1962 she married the love of her life, Dave Carr, and moved to South Dakota to be a rancher's wife. During this time, she was involved with the community and raised two daughters.
The family moved to Rapid City, S.D. in 1983 where she was a business owner for many years and worked at a casino in Deadwood. She and Dave moved to Mississippi in 1996 to be closer to their daughters. While in Mississippi, she again worked at the casinos. For the last 15 years, she was a daily face at the Fred's Dollar Store in Senatobia. She was an avid Big Bang Theory fan as well as an amazing seamstress and cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Geneva Masters and a baby boy. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dave Carr, two daughters, Angela Cook of Hernando, MS and Valerie White of Southaven, MS; 3 grandchildren, Tara Cook, Taylor and Tyler White: sister, Nancy Bloom (Larry) of LaPorte, CO and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
