Grace Fleming Powell, 91, of Hurley, MS passed away September 16, 2019 at Amelia's Garden in Lucedale, MS. She is survived by daughter, Linda Suess of Mobile, AL; son, James D. Powell Jr. of Jackson County, MS; granddaughter, Misty Currie of Jackson County, MS; great grandchildren, Nick Currie, Adi Appleby, Zander Appleby, A.J. Appleby, Ava Grace Montgomery, and Maisie Rose Powell. She was preceded in death by parents, Cliff and Kathryn Fleming; husband, James Davis Powell; sisters, Sara Frances Fleming and Joyce Morgan; and grandson, Zachary Davis Powell.
