Harvey Dale "Danny" Lamb

Harvey Dale Lamb, age 64, known as Danny to family and friends, passed away at his home on November 30, 2017, due to a sudden coronary attack. Danny was born on April 15, 1953 to Harvey Lamar and Idelle Hancock Lamb. He graduated from Independence High School, Northwest Mississippi Community College and received a Bachelor of Forestry degree from Mississippi State University in 1975.

Danny worked for numerous timber and forestry companies over the years, specializing in timber management and harvesting. He also worked as a licensed real estate broker buying and selling land and timber properties.

Danny was an avid outdoorsman and hunter and enjoyed spending time out in the woods hunting with his family and friends.

He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, William “Bill “and Iola Hancock and his paternal grandparents Carl and Susie Lamb.  He is also predeceased by his parents Harvey Lamar and Idelle Hancock Lamb, his aunt Jean Walker (Lamar) and his uncle Dale Hancock (Jane). He is survived by one daughter, Julia Lamb Kelly (Chad) and two grandchildren , Cole and Elise Kelly.  He is also survived by his sister Suzan Davis (Robert), his Aunt Wanda Mac (Steve) one niece, Katie Lovelace and one nephew, Marty Ferguson and numerous great nieces and nephews.
