He is survived by his wife, Frances Norman King of Sardis, MS; sons, Patrick King (Jan) and Jeremy King (Renee) all of Senatobia, MS; mother, Ophelia King of Hammond, LA; sister, Shirley Brown (Ralph) of Hammond, LA; brother, Mike King of Sardis, MS and grandchildren, Adam King, Lilly Grace King and Molly King all of Senatobia, MS. He was preceded in death by his father, James H. King, Sr.
