John W. Alexander, Sr.

John Waters Alexander, Sr., retired master carpenter, died early January 8, 2018 in Senatobia, MS where he was a resident since 1963.  John was born in Rossville, TN March 7, 1933 and graduated high school at Fayette Ware in Somerville, TN.

John was a deacon and faithful member of Highland Baptist Church in Senatobia.  John was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Ozier Alexander and two sons, John W. Alexander, Jr. and Michael Ozier Alexander.  He leaves his daughter, Charlotte, two grandchildren, John and Kimberly and three great grandchildren.  

A memorial service will be held at Highland Baptist Church with burial in Rossville at Pleasant's Christian Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association or a favorite charity.
