Larry John Baker

Larry Baker, 79, of Senatobia, MS passed away August 31, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis. Mr. Baker was a retired Brigadier General for the Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delma and Imogene Baker and his brother, Harry L. Baker. He is survived by his wife, Elinor Baker of Senatobia, MS; children, Kurt Veazey Baker (Regina) of Olive Branch, MS, Jeana Baker Cook (Tim) of Collierville, TN and Delma Gill Baker of Jackson, MS; brothers, David L. Baker of Evansville, MS and Paul Baker (Bonnie) of Lake Cormorant, MS; grandchildren, Brent Baker, Larry Matthew "Matt" Baker, Trey Baker, Samantha Wilson (Nate) and Lauren Faulk (Miller); step grandchildren, Vincent Bradshaw (Robin) and Chris Bradshaw; great grandchildren, Sawyer Wilson and Elliot Faulk; and step great grandchildren, Robert Bradshaw and Rebekah Bradshaw. Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church Senatobia where he was a member. Pallbearers for the service are Charlie Baker, Wes Baker, Mark Rhodes, Kelly Baker, Ken Purvis and John Michael Purvis. Honorary Pallbearers are the members of the Martin Sunday School Class of which he was a member.
