Larry Francis Vanderburg

Larry Francis Vanderburg, 68, of Crenshaw, MS passed away October 25, 2019 at his residence. He is survived by his daughter, Kristi Vanderburg (Kyle Jackson) of Columbia, TN; son, Eric E. Vanderburg of Columbia, TN; brother, Jerry Eugene Vanderburg (Phyllis) of Franklin, TN and grandchildren, Madison, Kalep, Braden, Maci and Keelan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Lyle Vanderburg. He was born in Memphis, TN to parents, F.M. and Gloria Vanderburg. Larry attended Alcoa High School and graduated with the Class of 1969. He was a devoted son, loving father, husband and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising his kids and grandkids and just being with his family. He helped shape Columbia American Little League and was a prominent member of the Columbia community and First Baptist Church. Larry spent 40 years working for Bellsouth and AT&T before retiring to Crenshaw, MS. He was a member of Crenshaw Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Alcoa Schools Foundation 524 Faraday St Alcoa TN 37701.
