Raymond Earle Byrd

Raymond Earle Byrd, husband of Martha Sealy Riales Byrd, parted this earth on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 due to complications from surgery and pneumonia. He is the son of James Henry and Mary Carter Byrd and brother to Jerry Byrd, all who preceded him in death.

In addition to his wife, Martha, he is survived by his son, Jon David Byrd of Honolulu, Hawaii; his stepson, Durward Lynn Riales and Margaret Riales, step daughter-in-law of Greenwood, MS; and brother-in-law, James Sealy of Senatobia along with a host of great nieces and nephews. 

A Vietnam Veteran, Raymond retired from the U.S. Army after serving three assignments in Vietnam. He is a member of First Baptist Church Senatobia, a Mason, Shriner, Scottish and York Rite, and a member of the American Legion. After retirement he volunteered his time and monies to transport children to and from Shriners Hospitals. 

At his request, a private memorial service will be held at a future date.
