Wayne Crockett

Billy Wayne Crockett, Sr. from Looxahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior February 20, 2019.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 62 years Shirley Weathers Crockett; son, Billy Wayne Crockett, Jr. (Gail) of Looxahoma; daughter, Beth Smith (Charlie) of Senatobia; three grandchildren, Nick Smith (Jamie) of Senatobia, Leigh Wochomurka (Ryan) of Houston, TX; Nathan Crockett (Rachel) of Memphis, TN; godson, Marco Freeman; two great grandchildren, Hayes and Hallie Wochomurka; and sister, Linda Ogg (Fred) of Coldwater.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Genevieve Crockett; three brothers, Merton, Larry and Ronny Crockett.

Wayne loved his family and expressed that love to them all in many ways. He was very proud to be a papa and a great papa. He also loved the people of Tate County and was grateful for his time in public office. He received great joy helping people as part of his job and in his private life.
