Winnie "Polly" Powell

Winnie "Polly" Powell, 85, of Sarah, MS passed away January 21, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert H. Powell and brother, Calvin Moore. She is survived by her son, James H. Powell (Diane) of Sarah, MS; sisters, Robbie Lusk of Senatobia, MS, Janice Grady of Horn Lake, MS, Murry Dickerson of Collierville, TN and Faye Schoggen of Sarah, MS; brothers John Moore of Coldwater, MS and Maurice Moore of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Stephanie Powell Redd and Melanie Powell Mangrum; and great grandchildren, Breana Redd, Jonathan Redd, Eliana Mangrum, Caleb Mangrum, Luke Mangrum and John David Mangrum. Memorials may be sent to Evansville Baptist Church where she was a member or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
