Agnes Crockett Cherry

Agnes Crockett Cherry, age 96 of Senatobia, MS, passed away on December 31, 2020 at Quitman County Nursing Home in Marks, MS.  She lived a full life up until 8 years ago when her health failed.  She worked at William Carter Company for 25 years.  She enjoyed her grandchildren and working in her yard.  She was a good cook with her specialty being coconut cake.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Cherry, Jr.; daughter, Fay Baynard ; parents, Davie P. and Myrtle P. Crockett; brother, Lamar Crockett and son-in-law, John Hawks.  She is survived by her daughter, Patsy S. Hawks of Senatobia, MS; grandchildren, April H. Edwards (Timothy) of Coffeeville, MS, Robert M. Hawks of Senatobia, MS and Johnnie F. Giffin of FL; step grandchildren, Pam Hawks of Senatobia, MS and Penny H. Frazier (Blake) of Senatobia, MS. 

In addition to her immediate family, she leaves behind several nieces and nephews she loved very much.
