Alton R. Mooneyhan, 85 of Arkabutla, MS passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Baptist Desoto. Alton worked as a mechanic all his life working for several companies before retiring from Ross Motors in Senatobia. He loved classic cars and attending car shows. Alton enjoyed taking impromptu road trips and especially loved going to Biloxi and all around the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He was a family man who adored his three daughters. Alton taught all his family members many life lessons that they will always cherish. He had two very special dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Mooneyhan of Arkabutla, MS; daughters, Debra Hale (Joe) of Hernando, MS, Teresa Littlejohn (Chuck) of Senatobia, MS, and Connie Siddon (Harvey) of Senatobia, MS; brothers, Don Mooneyhan of Clarksdale, MS and James Mooneyhan (Janice) of Arkabutla, MS; grandchildren, Stephanie, Crystal (Chris), Ashley (Eric), Lindsey (Brian), Sierra (Alex), Haley (Jayel), Jathan (Devin), and Charlee Beth; great grandchildren, James (Kelsey), Ethan, Talan, Austin, Gage, Gunner, Garrett, Rivers, Willa, Hudsynn, Oaklie, Lucas, John Paul, Lane, Bellamy, Emma-Thomas, Sam, and Addison; great-great grandchildren, Ollie, Finley, and Myles; bonus daughter, Melinda Cummins, and bonus son, Eric Edwards. He was preceded in death by his parents, James L. and Maybell Mooneyhan; sister, Zana Phillips, and great grandchildren, Preslee Kate and Kyle.
