Audie Key Robertson

On Monday, July 6, 2020, Audie Key Robertson passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital DeSoto at age 79. He was born to the late Orville Glynn and Julia Eddis Robertson on June 30, 1941 in Blue Springs, MS. He spent most of his life in Senatobia, MS, as a loving husband and friend.

He graduated from Senatobia High School, NWJC and Mississippi State University. Audie married his devoted wife Billie in 1968.  He retired from Ross Motor Company after a successful career. Audie enjoyed playing golf with his friends and was an avid Mississippi State Bulldogs fan. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Senatobia.

Audie is survived by his sister Glenda Patterson (Paul); godchildren Martin Bell and Elizabeth Hearn (Sam); nieces Laura Ellis, Julie Hardwick (Robby), and Paige Patterson; nephew Robert Patterson (Courtney); great-nieces Hailey Ellis, Audie Hardwick, and Carrie Patterson; great-nephews Wade Ellis and Christopher Patterson. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years Billie, parents Glynn and Eddis, and sister Aurelia.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First United Methodist Church Senatobia or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
