Bennie William Thornton

Bennie William Thornton, 83, of Senatobia, MS passed away Monday, April 21, 2025, at his residence. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army and Air Force. Bennie was a hard worker and put himself through school to learn about computers. He was also very organized. Bennie was a member of Stillwaters Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary J. Thornton; daughter, Lisa Rubel (Jim); stepdaughters, Angela Billingsley and Carla Tribble; stepson, Joey Ward (Kim); sister, Bernice Bové; brother, Johnny Thornton; 15 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Merle Thornton; son, Mike Thornton; brother, Thomas Thornton, and granddaughter, Bridgett Young.
