Bernard Spencer

Bernard Spencer, 83, of Tunica, MS passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023. He spent 67 years farming. Bernard was an avid hunter and fisherman. He always kept his yard cut and loved his goats and chickens. Above all, Bernard loved his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. As well as his grand-puppies!  He is survived by his wife, Rosie Daniel of Coldwater, MS; daughters, Elaine Williamson of Senatobia, MS and Celia Moncrief of Coldwater, MS ; sons, Brady Daniel (Amanda) of Coldwater, MS, Scotty Spencer of Tunica, MS, Bernard "Binky" Spencer, and Robert Daniel, Jr. of Strayhorn, MS; sisters, Peggy Baker of Como, MS, and Eloise McCormick of Horn Lake, MS; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Winfield Spencer, and Christine McCormick Spencer; brothers, Wesley Spencer and Elbert Spencer; sisters, Juanita, Sadie and Gertrude.  Memorials may be sent to Bethel Baptist Church where he was a member.
