Betty Ann Shelly, 65, of Independence, MS passed away March 17, 2024 at her residence. Betty was born to the late Issac and Mary Curle on February 21, 1959 in Somerville, TN. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Joe Bobbitt. She is survived by her son, Stephen Rivers Shelly, Jr. and his father, Steve Shelly; sisters, Dale Smith, Sandy Curtis, Deborah Hickerson (Bill), Brenda Sue Nix, Ouida McElwee (Danny) and Rita Curle; brother, Jerry Michael Curle; grandchildren, Shelby, Paisley and Monroe; and a host of extended family and friends. She was a caregiver at heart, a loyal mother and grandmother and adored her siblings.
