Bonnie Stein Brown, 70, of Southaven, MS, formerly of Arkbutla, MS, passed away June 14, 2020 at her residence. Ms. Bonnie was born January 17, 1950 in Arkabutla, Mississippi. She was the oldest of three children born to Ms. Leonia Brown. Both of Bonnie's parents (Ms. Leonia Brown and Mr. Bill Turner) preceded her in death.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Pleasant Hill M.B. Church. Bonnie moved to Aurora, Illinois a few years after graduating from high school. Shortly thereafter, she moved her church membership to Church of Christ, Aurora, Illinois.
Bonnie began her working career with Caterpillar (CAT) in1973 where she was a loyal and valuable worker for 37 years. She retired from CAT in 2010 and moved back to Mississippi that same year.
She leaves to remember her legacy one son: Kirk Turner (Camille) of Aurora, IL; three brothers: Ivory Brown (Sue) and William Turner of Aurora, IL and Tommy Hill of Coldwater, MS and one sister: Lula Turner of Aurora, IL. She also leaves to cherish her memory three granddaughters: Twaneka of North Carolina; Keshia (Charles); and Katrina (Victor) of Aurora, IL; seven great grandchildren, three uncles, one aunt and a host of cousins, other family members and friends.
Bonnie enjoyed life to the fullest. She always had a smile and a helping hand. Late Sunday evening, June 14, 2020, Bonnie took her place among the Saints and now she is present with the Lord (II Corinthians 5:8).
