Brandy Lee “B.Y.” Yount, 49, of Senatobia, MS passed away June 25, 2026. She loved sports and was a dare devil. Brandy was adored by her many friends. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, and the love of her life, April. Brandy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gene and Mary Yount and Dorothy and William Allen Wade. Brandy is survived by her wife, April Smith Gurley; children, Hallee Albritton (Baylor), Gracyn Gurley, and Mason Smith (Kate); mother, Karen Yount; father, David Yount (Laurel); grandmother, Dale Smith; mother-in-law, Susan Stewart; brother, D.J. Yount (Paige), step sister, Rachel Sellers (Brandon);  nieces and nephews who called her “Aunt B”, Kizer Yount, Zoey Yount, Carter Yount, Jacob Baker, Abigal Baker, Landon Sellers, Beckett Sellers, Nataleigh Hall, and Jackson Hall; her beloved grandchildren who called her “YaYa”, Waylon Albritton, Nina Albritton, Mary Michael Smith, and Bennett Smith, and numerous friends and extended family.
