Charlie Heffner, Sr., 78, of Arkbautla, MS passed away July 12, 2026 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. Charlie was a member of Evansville Baptist Church where he served as deacon. He worked 45 years as a sales manager at Golden Flake and loved to travel, hunt, fish, and work in his garden. Charlie was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice Heffner; his parents, Alvin Roddy Heffner and Margaret Eva Heffner; and his brothers, Robert, Darnell, Leroy, and Leon. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Heffner; daughter, Gwen Ivy (Jason); sons, Charlie Heffner, Jr. (Tracie) and Lee Heffner (Misty); stepchildren, Tommy and Kate; brother, Paul Heffner (Jan); grandchildren, C.J. Heffner (Mary), Bayleigh Hudson (Hank), Kayla Willkie (Gage), Garrett Hatley (Addisyn), Chance Ivy (Nicole), Noah Ivy (Siera), and Zac Riley; great grandchildren, Bethany, Blaine, Zoe, David Lee, Ellery, Eden, Waylon, Maislee, Lottie, and Bailey; and several nieces and nephews. Charlie will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
