David Emit Rushing, Jr., 62, of Senatobia, MS passed away March 18, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Oxford. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army. He is survived by his daughters, Joyia Rushing Scott, Shana Slaughter, and Amanda Starkey; son, Jecoa Catt; sister, Rhonda Burkett; grandchildren, Vinson Scott, Austin Jaco, Kally Jaco Patton, Justin Jaco, and Alex Oaks; and great granddaughter, Zayah Faith Patton. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Edith Rushing and granddaughter, Sydney Watkins.

A private service will be held at a later date.
