DeLois Jones

DeLois Jones, 66, of Memphis, TN passed away February 3, 2025 at her daughter's home in Southaven, MS. She loved music and also enjoyed shopping at yard sales and thrift stores. Her family will always remember how she loved to dress up and loved her hats. Above all, they will remember what a giving person she was to all that knew her. DeLois is survived by her husband, James Edward Smith; daughters, Chandra Maxwell, Flora Jones, Kiva Jones (Lance Morrow), and Donna Sesson; sons, Marcus Carlton, James  Jr Jones , and Antonio Carlton; sisters, Cleola Sesson, Ella Holmes, Annie Readus, Pasty Booze, Maxine Holts, Mary Campbell, Doris Roby, and Rose Mangrum;  brothers, Donald Wayne Sesson, Frank Jones Jr, James A. Jones, Sidney L. Jones, John H. Jones, Lee Mangrum, Larry Mangrum;  grandchildren, Marcel Jones, Zoey Wickfall, Ziah Wickfall, Kaitlyn Jones, London Morrow, and Dillion Sesson; and her aunt, Lula Bell Irving. DeLois was preceded in death by her father, Frank Jones, mother, Alice Wilbourne, and sister, Irma Carlton.

Pallbearers for the service will be Alex Jones, Nicholas Phillips, Marcus Carlton, Antonio Carlton, James Jones Jr, and Marcel Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be James Arthur Jones, Donald Sesson, Frank Jr Jones, Larry Mangrum, and Lee Mangrum
