Debi Pearl Newsom

Debi Pearl Newsom, 64, of Memphis, TN passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She attended Ebenezer Baptist Church. Debi spent her time serving and loving on family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and was always happy. She enjoyed playing bingo. Debi also loved children and animals.

She is survived by her daughter, Misty Poe (Jonathan) of Coldwater, MS; son, Donald “Bubba” Newsom, Jr. of Olive Branch, MS; sister, Beverly Mehrafza (Latif) of Hernando, MS; grandchildren, Kaylin Poe and Cooper Poe; nephew, Rodney Barber (Amanda), great nephew, Kevin Barber (Alecia); great-great niece, Ava Barber; great-great nephew, Owen Barber; fur baby, George Bailey and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Monnie Dirickson and brothers, Saul Dirickson and Tilford Flowers, III.

Services will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Senatobia, MS on November 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. The visitation will be held prior from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Surretts Cemetery in Arkabutla, MS.
