Donny Terry

Donny Terry, 72, of Independence, MS passed away at his home on October 26, 2025 surrounded by his family and loving wife Robin Terry. Donny was an Army veteran that served as a crew chief door gunner for the 57th assault helicopter company in Vietnam. During his time of service he received multiple honors and awards. One being the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was also a member of The Steam Fitters local 614 where he worked diligently to service a multitude of maintenance contracts through out the Memphis area. He was preceded in death by his father Henry "Bill" Terry Sr., mother Mildred Imogene Rushing Terry, sister Patsy Neyman and Linda Diane Terry and Brother William Henry "Billy" Terry Jr. He is survived by his wife of 50 year Robin Terry. Son Jarrett Lee Terry (Raney) granddaughter Ryleigh Grace Terry and Grandsons Christian "Tyler" Hartfield and Noah Chase Hartfield. 
 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Red Banks Baptist Church.
