Dr. Robert Winford Bunce, Jr.

Dr. Robert Winford Bunce, Jr., 72, of Senatobia, MS passed away March 7, 2021 at his residence. He is survived by his daughters, Sarah Bunce Smith (Simon) and Emily Kate Bunce both of Senatobia, MS; brother, John Bunce (Beth) of Fayetteville, NC, his dog, Shadow, a host of family and friends and was expecting his very first grandchild, a baby girl. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Margie Bunce. He enjoyed writing poetry, riding his BMW motorcycle, playing music with his friends, reading and art. He was a veteran having served as a Marine in Vietnam completing multiple combat tours. Dr. Bunce received his bachelor's at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his master's at Mississippi State University and his PhD at the University of Mississippi. Memorials may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project or Save the Music Foundation.
