Edward (Eddie) Wayne Howell

Edward (Eddie) Wayne Howell, of Harmontown, MS, went to his Heavenly home on September 30, 2023, at the age of 63. Eddie was born on January 28, 1960, in Peoria, IL to Chester and Maudie Howell. At age 8, Eddie moved to Harmontown, MS with his family and called Harmontown his home until his earthly death. Eddie was active in his community throughout the years. He coached softball and baseball, worked with the community in the water association, and was always there to lend a helping hand with just a call. He loved hunting and fishing. Most remember Eddie out running the dogs while they chased rabbits. He just might hold the record of swimming across the Sardis Lake. Eddie loved his family and had a passion for cooking. All who knew Eddie adored him and will cherish many memories. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Wanda Howell; his sons, Aaron (Dude) Howell and his wife, Kayla and Brian (Rudy) Howell and his wife, Delacy; his daughter, Presley (Boo) Keel and her husband, Josh; his mother, Maudie Howell; his sisters, Edell Bennett and her husband, Victor and Betty Taylor and her husband, Barney; his brothers, Chester Lee “C.L.” Howell and his wife, Sharnee and Belden Howell and his wife, Kay; his best friend and caregiver, Lonnie Weaver; his 3 grandchildren, Swayze (Tadpole) Dearman, Jolie (Curly Top) Keel, and Harleigh Matthews and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Howell. Memorials may be sent to the Shriners Hospital.
