Edward "Maise" Ferguson

Edward Maise Ferguson, 89, of Independence, MS passed away on November 1, 2021 at Baptist Hospital - Crittendon in West Memphis, AR.  He worked for Trunkline Gas Company from 1951-1988. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Independence.  He is survived by his wife, Ruby Gay Ferguson of Independence, MS; daughters, Linda Townsend (Luther) of Independence, MS and Paula Ferguson of Independence, MS; son, Ed Ferguson (Joel) of Senatobia, MS; grandchildren, Clint Townsend (Leah), Lee Ferguson (Kim), Carla Townsend, Lindsey Riddell (Reid), Cadie Jefferies (Brandon), Seth Wooten, Caleb Townsend and Ashley Joslin (Drew) and great grandchildren, Georgia, Gabe, Lucas, Grant, Judah, Ruby, Ruth and Archie.  He was preceded in death by parents, Searcy Maise and Nina Ferguson and his brother, Vinon Lee Ferguson.  Memorials may be sent to Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
