Elizabeth Ann Carlisle

Elizabeth (Betty) Howe Carlisle passed away at her home in Cherokee, NC on Friday, September 15, 2023. Elizabeth was born and raised in Sarah, MS where she graduated college from Northwest Community College. Elizabeth was a long time member of the Whittier Church of God where she taught Sunday School for many years. She retired from RR Donnelley & Sons as a Customer Service Relations representative. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Dewey & Mary Howe of Sarah, MS. She was preceded in death by husband, Kelly W. Carlisle Sr., Grandsons, Nicholas Carlisle, Justin Carlisle. She leaves behind her children, Jeffrey Carlisle, Kelly W. Carlisle Jr., Alisa Carlisle, Suzanne Pennington, Cheryl Cole & Wayne Carlisle. She leaves her siblings, Charles Howe (Patricia), Bob Howe, Steve Howe, Peggy Cates & Jayne Brewer. She has 18 Grandchildren and 17 great Grandchildren. Elizabeth loved God and her family above all else.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 20 at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia, Mississippi at 2:00 pm. Family visitation will be from 12:30 pm to 1:00 and friends will be welcomed at 1:00 pm with the service held at 2:00 pm. Grave service will follow immediately at Singleton Springs Cemetery in Sarah, MS. On Saturday, September 23, we will have a visitation for the family from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm with a meal for the family following in the fellowship hall at Whittier Church of God.
