Erma I. Hawthorne

Erma I. Hawthorne, 94, of Senatobia, MS passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025. She enjoyed playing scrabble and cards. Erma also liked to knit and listen to Christian music. She loved shopping for shoes and purses. Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Homer “Sonny” Hawthorne, stepson, Mark Hawthorne, and son-in-law, Jerry Polk. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Polk; stepsons, Greg Hawthorne (Stacy) and Steve Hawthorne (Beverly); grandchildren, Kim White (Kenny), Sonya Hance, Becky Mockbee (David), and Jerry Polk (Ginger); great grandchildren, Cody White (Kayla), Caleb White, Myranda Cummings (Phillip), Shai Hance, Kelbi Hance (Cassie), Kelsi Hance (Sky), Lesley Smith (James), Tori Mather, Mckenzie Polk, Mckenna Polk, and Mckaylee Polk (Elijah); step great grandchildren, Stephanie Hawthorne and Christopher Hawthorne, and 22 great great grandchildren.
