Ernest Darryl Helums

Ernest Darryl Helums, 61, of Coldwater, MS was called to his heavenly home on December 3, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Brenda Raburn Helums; sons, Darryl Anton Helums (Melinda) and Jason Thomas Helums (Yesina Gonzalez); grandchildren, Madison Dalton (Tristan), Rylan Hankins, Angel Helums, Michael Helums (Madelyn), Macayla Helums, Lessly Martinez, Jasmine Martinez, Jennifer Martinez and Issac Helums and great grandchildren, Marley, LaLa, Olivia, and Meredith. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruby Helums and brothers, Jimmy Helums, Joel Helums, and Gerald Helums.

For the last 14 years, Darryl was the minister of Faith Chapel Holiness Church in Senatobia, MS. He had a passion for counseling and witnessing to those in need. He loved serving the Lord and this community. Darryl loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren and was patiently awaiting the arrival of two additional great grandchildren.  Darryl was the patriarch of his family. His love and presence will be greatly missed by all that had the chance to know him.
