Ernie Criddle

Ernie Criddle, 80, of Crenshaw, MS passed away May 20, 2024 at his residence. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eljuana Criddle; daughters, Kellie Baker of Harmontown and Sallie Eaton of Sparta; sons, Donnie Criddle of Memphis, TN and Ronnie Criddle of Crenshaw; brothers, Sonny and Jerry; grandchildren, Wesley Graves, Jimmy Merriman, Christina Workman and Brittany Hinds; 5 great grandchildren and a host of great great grandchildren, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Ernest Mearl Criddle, Jr.; parents, Jimmy and Edna Criddle; sisters, Faye, Sissy and Edna and brothers, Leo and W.D. and granddaughter, Jennifer Merriman. Ernie was a simple man that loved life, spending time with his family and loved the Lord. In earlier years he enjoyed fishing, hunting and taking his family camping.
