James Edward Longmire, 56, of Horn Lake, MS passed away May 5, 2023. James loved the outdoors, especially deer hunting and fishing. He worked as a mechanic for 40 plus years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia “Jenny” Angelo. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Nancy Longmire of Horn Lake, MS; daughters, Marisa Longmire of Horn Lake, MS and Kelsey Kotowski (Brandon) of East Palatka, FL; son, John Rowland (Tirzah) of Horn Lake, MS; father, George Butch Angelo of Strayhorn, MS; biological father, William “Bill” Longmire of Huntingdon, TN; sisters, Donna Moore (Johnny) of Sarah, MS and Veronica Erikson of Chicago, IL; brothers, Chris Angelo of Ohio, Jason Longmire (Sandy) of Huntingdon, TN, and Danny Easton (Amy) of Huntingdon, TN; and 12 grandchildren, Jaymi, Jaylen, C.J., Cruz, Jace, Israeh, Serenity, Oliver, Jyma, Levi, Brennan, and Delilah.
A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
