James Burton Montgomery Obituary

James Burton Montgomery, 77, of Senatobia, MS passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. He was a proud veteran having served two terms in Vietnam where he was a prisoner of war. James owned and retired from Montgomery Plumbing Company. He also loved Harley Davidsons. He is survived by his wife, Doris Howe Montgomery of Senatobia, MS; daughters, Shannon Harrington (Matt) of Collierville, TN, Tammie Vargo (Chris) of Oklahoma, Angel Whitley (Jeremy) of San Antonio, TX, Jamie Nothelfer of Michigan, and Rachel Montgomery of Senatobia, MS; stepson, Doyle Coston (Glenda); sister, Jo Ann Hancock (Will) of Independence, MS; brother, Christopher Montgomery of Looxahoma, MS; 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Evelyn Montgomery.

Private services will be held at a later date.
