James "Jim" Porter

James "Jim" Porter, 74, of Como, MS passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. He was a member of The American Trap Shooting Association. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Porter; daughters, Penny Porter Wilbourn (Rusty) and Lillian Porter Varadi; sister, Joy Porter Nichols (Aubrey); grandchildren, Todd and Kelsey Wilbourn, Bradley Wilbourn, Katie Wilbourn, John Michael Varadi, Lilah Varadi, and Ava Varadi and great grandchildren, Maggie James Wilbourn and T.C. Wilbourn. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, John Varadi. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
