James "Jimmy" Lee Farrow

James “Jimmy” Lee Farrow, 65, of Independence, MS passed away September 20, 2021 at his residence. He is survived by his wife of over 43 years, Anita Farrow; daughter, Mary Margaret Farrow of Independence, MS; sister, Jennie Lou Pryor (Greg) of Strayhorn, MS and granddaughter, Marlee Coleman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rusty and Mary Ellen Farrow and sister, Mary Frances Farrow. After retiring from MDOT, Jimmy worked as a house parent at The Baptist Children’s Village for over 12 years. He and Anita served on 13 mission trips to Oklahoma to do vacation bible school with Creek Indians. Jimmy enjoyed making soap, cooking, grilling, hunting and fishing. He was a member of Wyatte Baptist Church. Memorials may be sent to The Baptist Children’s Village, Farrow Manor Campus.
