He is survived by his sons, Corey Dewayne Jeffries (Shelby Robinson) of Memphis, TN, James Lee Jeffries, Jr. of Memphis, TN, and Reginald Boykin (Jacquline) of Tunica, MS; sisters, Ella M. Hester (James) of Southaven, MS, Beulah Daniel (Andrew) of Memphis, TN, Juliette Summers (Clifton) of Memphis, TN, and Geneva Hibbler (Carl) of Longtown, MS; brothers, George Jeffries, Jr. (Martha) of Arkabutla, MS, Dennis Wayne Jeffries (Kim) of Olive Branch, MS, Joe Jeffries (Shirley) of Longtown, MS, Daniel Lee Jeffries of Memphis, TN, and Bill Chase Holliday of Memphis, TN; 6 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Louise Jeffries; sister, Daisy McNeil, and brothers, Jackie Jeffries, Milton Jeffries, and Larry Holliday.
