James "Tom" Skelton Obituary

James "Tom" Skelton, 73, of Senatobia, MS passed away October 26, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. Tom was a member of First Baptist Church Senatobia. Over the years he enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Gilley Skelton; father, Jack Skelton; and sisters, JoAnn Skelton and Becky Hood. Tom is survived by his child, Jack Skelton of Brooklyn, NY; mother, Louise Skelton of Holly Springs, MS; sisters, Wanda Leopard (Jack) of Holly Springs, MS and Gale Rogers of Ripley, MS; brother, Stanley Skelton of Holly Springs, MS; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews he was very close to. 


Memorials may be sent to Senatobia First Baptist Church for the Disaster Relief Fund and/or the Security Team.


A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church in Senatobia.
