James Wallace Chapuis, Sr., 97, of Senatobia, MS passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024 at his residence. James was a proud World War II veteran. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Chapuis; son, Mike Chapuis (Kay); daughter-in-law, Lynn Chapuis; granddaughters, Christina Walls (Chris) and Danielle Williams (Chris), and great grandchildren, Nathan Walls, Caleb Walls, and Kayleigh Williams. He was preceded in death by his son, Wallace Chapuis; granddaughter, Jamie Moore; brothers, Dan Chapuis, Richard Chapuis, Lynn Chapuis, and Jack Chapuis, and sisters, Bessie Mae Murphy, Rosie Young, Louise Griffin, Alice Harris, and Irene Vance. James was a member of First Baptist Church Senatobia. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or FBC Senatobia.
