James William "Bill" Starr

James William “Bill” Starr, 56, of Senatobia, MS passed away at home on Thursday, January 26, 2023 after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. Bill grew up in Sledge, MS farming with his family and graduated from North Delta in 1984. Bill then went on to attend The University of Mississippi. He loved anything to do with the woods, especially camping, hunting, shooting, riding four wheelers and dirt bikes. He also had a great love for music. Bill was a member of Holy Innocents Episcopal Church in Como, MS. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Cayce Wright Starr; daughter, Christian Starr Continenza (Daniel) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; sons, James Elisha Starr of Oxford, MS and Samuel Tucker Starr of Senatobia, MS; mother, Marilyn Canon Starr of Sardis, MS; sisters, Mary Evelyn Starr of Sledge, MS and Joanna Starr (Richard Philippi) of Flagstaff, AZ; and grandchildren, Isabella Starr Continenza and Sophia Noelle Continenza.
