James Willie Corbett, 75, of Batesville, MS passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Denise Presley Corbett of Batesville, MS; daughters, Tammie Ward (Roz) of Memphis, TN, Torie Corbett of Florida, and Mignon Corbett of Memphis, TN; son, Michael Hall (Jowharah); stepdaughters, Dynyel Presley of Batesville, MS and Roleisha Storey of Batesville, MS; stepson, Rodarius Storey of Batesville, MS; sister, Addie Jean Corbett of Chicago; brothers, Robert Bullins of Clarksdale, MS and George Corbett (Sandra) of Florida; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Corbett and Sarah Bullins; son, James Corbett, and brother, Frank Clark, Sr. James was a veteran having served in the Army. He was also a member of Abundant Harvest Church of God and Christ under Superintendent Pastor Michael C. Hickmon in Charleston, MS.
