Jean A. Brown

Jean A. Brown, 76, of Memphis, TN passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025. She was a passionate educator and motivated individuals to pursue higher education. Jean was fun-loving and helpful to everyone she knew. She is survived by her husband who she loved dearly, Dewey Brown, Jr. Jean is also survived by her son, Mario McDowell (Andriel); nieces, Ruth White Thompson and Jean Birge; 3 grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Gracie Greene and brother, David White. Jean was a member of Independent-Tyro M.B. Church.
