Jettie Mae Meadows

Jettie Mae Meadows, 79, of Independence, MS, passed away on December 30, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto.  She is survived by her sons, Howard Boling (Angel) of Senatobia, MS and Roger Meadows II (Crysania) of Independence, MS; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Meadows, two sisters and one brother.  Jettie was a cashier at Sunflower Grocery for many years and was a 4-H teacher.  She had a great love for country music and did a lot of singing when she was young.  Jettie also loved her dogs. 

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
