Jim "Doc" Taylor

Jim "Doc" Taylor, 79, of Senatobia, MS passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 at his residence. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to grill, hunt, and fish. He worked as a veterinarian, serving the Tate County community for many years. Jim is survived by his wife, Ann Taylor of Senatobia, MS; sons, Jay Taylor (Shelly) of Senatobia, MS and Clark Taylor (Lori) of Bailey, MS; sisters, Pat McGovern of Collierville, TN, Lynn McDivitt of Sturgis, MS, and Elizabeth Goode (Fred) of Sturgis, MS; brothers, Glenn Taylor (Julie) of Picayune, MS and Curtis "Mike" Taylor (Paula) of Bossier City, LA; 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Margaret Taylor and brothers, William "Bill" Taylor and Jerry Lamar Taylor. 

A memorial service will be held at Big Creek Methodist Church in Sturgis, MS at a later date.
