Joe Alexander, Jr., 83, of Thyatira, MS passed away May 24, 2020 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Jean Alexander; son, James F. Smith; and brother, Hugh Dwayne Alexander. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Joyce Hale of Independence, MS; sons, Rocky Vince Alexander of Cockrum, MS, Vince Martin Alexander of Hernando, MS, Richard Allen Alexander of Independence, MS and Terry Randall Alexander of Independence, MS; brothers, Ray Alexander of Pontotoc, MS, John Alexander of Coldwater, MS and Robert Alexander of Thyatira, MS; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
