Joe Michael Newton

Joe Michael Newton, 75, of Senatobia, MS passed away September 24, 2024. He was a member of First Baptist Church Senatobia. Joe graduated from Senatobia High School and Ole Miss. He was an avid football fan. Joe went on various mission trips to Spanish Speaking countries and loved spending time with family and Jesus the most. He would spend most of his time daily reading the Bible and praying.
Joe is survived by his son, Ben Newton (Amy); grandchildren, Aveline and Kaleia; sister, Cathy Overman (David); niece, Amy Stienberg (Ezra), and nephews, Michael Overman (Marnie) and John Overman (Amy). He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Michael Newton and Mary Worley Newton; brother, Gary Newton. Memorials may be sent to Wycliffe Bible Translators.
