John Aven Obituary

John Floyd Aven, 71, of Memphis, TN passed away January 23, 2021 at Baptist Memphis Hospital. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army during Vietnam and received a Purple Heart. He is survived by his son, Bryan Aven (Natalie) of Adamsville, TN; sister, Leslie Aven of Sommerville, TN; brother, Ernie Aven (Lisa) of Texas; grandchildren, Hunter, Nolan and Mikaila and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shannon Rowley. Mr. Aven was of the Christian faith. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A memorial service will be held in Bethesda Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on February 1, 2021.
