John R. Mathenia, 85, of Senatobia, MS passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Janie Mathenia of Senatobia, MS; daughter, Teresa White (Carl) of Looxahoma, MS; son, Stephen Mathenia (Wendy) of Crawfordsville, AR; sisters, Carolyn Kyle (Jerry) of Gibson, TN and Louise Watson of Trenton, TN; brothers, Harry Mathenia (Shirley) of Trenton, TN and David Mathenia (Barbara) of Trenton, TN; grandchildren, Brent White (Bianca), Candice Siddon (David), Emily Mathenia, and Brittany Terry and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Opal Mathenia; sisters, Mae Fern Graves, Sarah Bennett, Marie Hatchett, and Rebecca White; brothers, Pete Mathenia, Ray Mathenia, and Russell Mathenia and son, John Russell Mathenia.
