John Thomas Hawks

John Thomas Hawks, 72, of Senatobia, MS passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 at his residence.  Upon graduating from Coldwater High School, John joined the United States Air Force. After his discharge, he worked in the transportation industry his entire career and retired from M.S. Carriers in Memphis, TN after 22 years. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patsy Smart Hawks of Senatobia, MS; three daughters, Pam Hawks of Senatobia, MS, Penny Hawks Frazier (Blake) of Senatobia, MS , and April Hawks Edwards (Timothy) of Coffeeville, MS; one son, Robert Mitchell Hawks of Senatobia, MS; sister, Juanita Hawks Walden of Senatobia, MS; niece, Angie Walden Bundrum; nephew, Richard Walden and great niece, Skylar Bundrum.  He left one beloved granddaughter, Mary Sealy (Maisey) Frazier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Mitchell and Mary Sealy Hawks. John also leaves a host of cousins and family-like friends that will miss his quick wit and loyal friendship. The family asked that memorials be sent to The Baddour Center at P.O. Box 97, Senatobia, MS 38668.
