He is survived by his father, Thomas Markwell; sister, Theresa Annette "Tess" Capshaw (Gill); brother, Paul Phillip Markwell; uncle, Billy W. Markwell (Joyce); aunt, Mary Jo Williams; nieces, Cindy Burton and Kristy Burton; nephew, Samuel Capshaw; and a host of great nieces and nephews. John loved to hunt and fish and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
