Joseph W. "Jody" Taylor

Joseph W. "Jody" Taylor, 78, of Senatobia, MS passed away January 27, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. Jody was district manager and store manager for Fred's and retired after 40 plus years of service. He loved to fish and spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Jean Yount Taylor; sons, Brian Taylor (Donna) of Greenleaf and Chris Taylor (Amanda) of Senatobia; grandchildren, Kyle Taylor (Holly) and Kaitlyn Taylor; great granddaughter, Ellie Taylor; brother-in-law, David Yount of Senatobia; sisters-in-law, Kathy Taylor of Olive Branch and Karen Yount of Senatobia; nephews, Dave Taylor, Joel Taylor, Scott Gordon and D.J. Yount; and nieces, Shelia Rines, Angie Gordon, Brenna Bulliner, and Brandy Yount. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Vivian Taylor; sister, Linda Taylor Ray; and brother, David Taylor. Memorial donations may be sent to Grace Life Church in Senatobia where he was a member.
